Vainilla Molina & Berry Yule Log
Ingredients
Bread
- A splash of Vainilla Molina
- 1 cup of flour
- 1/3 tbsp of baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 100g of sugar
- 100g of butter
Filling
- ½ liter of whipped cream
- 100g of sugar
- 150g of berries (to taste)
- 1 tbsp of cocoa
Directions
Bread:
- Put flour and baking powder through a strainer.
- Separate egg whites from yolk.
- Soften the butter until it becomes creamy.
- In a container, place the butter, half of the sugar, and the egg yolks one by one while mixing with a spatula. Once fully mixed, add the flour.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg whites, and add the rest of the sugar to achieve a meringue or frosting-like consistency.
- Add a splash of Vainilla Molina, and mix fully.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper, and spread a thin layer of the mixture on it. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 10 minutes.
Filling:
- Mix the cream and the sugar until you get a frosting-like consistency.
- Add the berries to the cream.
- Spread the berry cream on bread and then roll.
- Cut the corners and sprinkle with cocoa.
- Top with your favorite red berries (optional).
