How to bake the perfect cake?

We know that the wait can be hard, as the smell of butter and sugar fills your kitchen and you just want your cake to be ready. You take it out of the oven, and SURPRISE! your cake got stuck, got burned, it didn't rise, or worse, the dough is hard as a rock. So to avoid that kind of surprise again, follow these foolproof tips to bake the perfect cake.
1. FLUFFY CAKE
Make sure the eggs, milk and butter you're going to use are at room temperature. Take the ingredients out of the refrigerator hours before, and don’t melt the butter in the microwave, unless the recipe calls for it. When mixing the sugar with the butter, beat for at least 5 minutes. This will give your dough more air, making it rise and become fluffy.
2. THE RIGHT OVEN TEMPERATURE
Don't forget to preheat the oven before putting your cake in. It’s recommended to turn it on 20 to 30 minutes before baking.
3. DON'T LET YOUR CAKE STICK
Always grease the pan with butter! Then flour it. Finally, put it in the refrigerator for a few minutes: this will make it more difficult for the bottom to burn.
4. GIVE IT THAT SPECIAL TOUCH
Add a big splash of Vainilla Molina to the mixture to intensify the flavor of the cake!
5. TAKE YOUR CAKE OUT AT THE RIGHT TIME
Don't open and close the oven door! This can make your cake lose its shape. And if your oven has internal lighting, turn it off.
The right baking time is essential, no more, no less. Once you take it out, there are several ways to see if it's done. Check if the edges of the cake have separated slightly from the edges of the pan. You can also press the center with a spoon; if it's ready, the cake will return to its regular shape. Or you can insert a knife or toothpick into the cake. If it comes out clean, it's ready!
