Cinnamon rolls

Ingredients

-       A splash of Vainilla Molina

-       1kg of flour

-       160g of sugar

-       20g of salt

-       160g of butter

-       160g of margarine

-       40g of powdered milk

-       8 eggs

-       20g of active dry yeast

-       400ml of water

-       Orange shavings

-       Lemon shavings

-       30g of cinnamon

-       150g of apricot jam

-       1 egg to varnish

-       150g of baking powder

-       12 red cherries

-       Gold dust (optional)

Directions

1.     Use all the powder ingredients (except salt) to form a circular mound with a hole in the center, and add the remaining ingredients (except salt and liquids). Sprinkle salt on the outer edge of the circle so that it doesn’t directly mix with the yeast and lose fermentation.

2.     Add everything little by little using your hands, alternating liquids. Mix until the dough is smooth and flexible.

3.     Form rectangles 3mm wide. Spread jam on each and sprinkle with cinnamon.

4.     These ingredients can be added to taste.

5.     Roll up the rectangle from left to right, and cut 2cm rolls. Form a Christmas tree with the rolls on a baking tray.

6.     Let sit so it doubles in volume, and varnish with the egg.

7.     Bake at 380°F (200°C) for 10 minutes.

8.     Top with cherries and gold dust.
