RED VELVET HOT CHOCOLATE

Ingredients

Ingredients for chocolate:

 

4 cups of whole milk 

1⁄4 cup of sugar 

10 oz of semisweet baking chocolate 

2 tbsp of red food coloring 

A big splash of Vainilla Molina 

 

Ingredients for cream cheese whipping cream: 

 

1⁄4 cup of heavy cream, chilled 

1 ⁄2 cup of cream cheese, at room temperature 

1⁄2 cup of sugar 

A pinch of salt 

A big splash of Vainilla Molina 

 

Directions

For the chocolate:

 

  1. Heat milk with sugar in a saucepan and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Pour in the chocolate and mix until melted.
  3. Add a big splash of Vainilla Molina & the food coloring. Mix until incorporated.
  4. Serve, add the cream cheese whipped cream and marshmallows for garnish.

 

For the cream cheese whipped cream:

 

  1. In a bowl, add the whipping cream and beat for 5 to 10 min (with a mixer). Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, add the cream cheese, sugar, salt, and a big splash of Vainilla Molina. Beat until incorporated & creamy.
  3. Add the whipped cream that you had reserved and beat by hand until incorporated. Refrigerate.
  4. Put it in a sleeve with a piping nozzle to decorate.
